Resource Institutions in India
Resource institutions facilitate the creation and dissemination of knowledge on
clusters. Building on their institutional experience, they provide technical assistance
including handholding of implementing organizations through the process of cluster
development in select clusters. Some of the resource organizations also undertake
training of cluster development agents and senior coordinators among funding institutions
to help them undertake effective and efficient implementation. These organizations
may have a mandate to operate nationally, internationally or regionally.
